I have worked within the youth work field for approximately 12 years and have worked with many organisations such as Kids Company, M.B.G, South central youth, World vision and many more, I have been building a strong rapport with Leonard Cheshire Disability and Reality Bytes UK I aim to launch a mentoring and outreach service for young people across numerous boroughs starting with Lambeth. We aim to provide various sessions all aimed at reducing anti social behavior, building self esteem and promoting physical, mental and sexual heath. So far we have gained the interest of many local youth and residents in general and are literally steps away from making this a reality for all local youth. We are asking for the support and advice from anybody who may be in a position to assist us with our cause. I thank you very much for your time and wish you all the best. Kind Regards Adrian Rose

This project in more detail
We will be providing a 12 week program for 60 young people to access on a individual basis which will consist of a weekly one to one session with a mentor that will support the young person regarding there issues of concern and will put a action plan in place that ensure the client achieves their aims and objectives. In addition to the one to one service Humble Minds Will also be delivering 3 workshops that will be addressing issues such as emotional well being, sexual health, gang awareness and career development opportunities. We have been sponsored to deliver this project by the Home Office In conjunction with Compass youth Drugs and alcohol misuse advice services and also Catch22, however we are in need of a little more assistance to can secure some funding for Volunteers expenses as these posts were not included in the budget so we are trying new and creative ways to try and secure some financial assistance as we are a fairly new organisation.
